New apprentice!

Due to the insatiable appetite T25/T3 owners seem to have for destroying and/or modifying gearboxes i have taken on an apprentice.

Tom Houseman is now working with me 2 days a week and will be attending a full on college based apprenticeship type course as part of the deal. We are working through the backlog of work as we speak and as soon as Tom is fully up to speed we will be able to take on more work than is possible at present, which should help to speed up the turn around and minimise waiting time for your precious chunks of oil filled metal.

In the mean time we greatly appreciate your patience, thanks everyone!

New Workshop!

I am currently moving into a new, bigger, better workshop premises in Wales.

The time has come to make the move into a properly kitted out space that will enable me to improve the service i can provide to customers. The unit i have acquired is certainly going to make that possible. There’s lots of changes afoot, including improving the buying experience in terms of spare parts etc as storage/organisation space is now more available.

As you can imagine, physically performing the move into the new premises is soaking up quite a bit of time at the moment, but rest assured everything will be business as usual in no time.
However, whilst the dust is settling my opening hours over the next couple of months will be as follows:

Mon-Thursday only 8am – 7pm, lunch 12-12.30
Fri, Sat, Sun – Closed

Additionally there is a webshop in the pipeline, but wont be online until it is fully operational and functioning. This will give people instant access to any of the spares i carry for T3/T25. Watch this space!

Happy New Year!

As you can see there is a bit of a shake up going on at Aidan Talbot.

For one reason and another the old site needed a spruce up, so that’s exactly what’s happening. Once complete the new site should be easier to navigate, more informative and generally more pleasurable to use.

The new website is coming together but there is still lots to do so please bear with us. For the most part all the relevant information is back online, however there may be some amendments that need to be made especially to pricing structures. Being so busy with updating for the coming year the increased rate of VAT has not yet been accounted for either.

Please keep your eye on the website over the coming weeks as it will be changing considerably. Your feedback on the new site would also be appreciated should you wish to express an opinion.
